This music project is a labor of love to be enjoyed by all people.  But, especially people of color.  The concept is simple.  Create a body of music that is uplifting, encouraging, and celebrates the black culture of America.     

 

Each song dives head first into issues that face the black and brown community.  What makes them feel good?  What excites them?  And yes, unfortunately, what are the challenges they still endure in the present day?   

 

The project captures the uniqueness of the black experience.  It explores the magic of the black woman.  It provides instructions to young black men.  It celebrates HBCUs and all the greatness that have come out of HBCU institutions of higher learning.  The songs in the project are a testament to love – one for another.  It affirms, in the strongest possible way, the love that is needed for each other to keep pushing forward for a better life.  It encourages everything that has breath to praise the Lord. 

 

This musical project is designed to feed our soul.
